Job Requirements of LWH Administrative Assistant / Receptionist:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of general business and administrative processes and principles, including phone etiquette and record keeping.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks as well as other programs used by the Key West Harry S Truman Foundation (ex.
Donor Perfect, Constant Contact)Ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guests.
Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult people both in person and via the telephone while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in a highly visible, clerical, or administrative position
Minimum of 2 years business experience preferred

LWH Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

Strong administrative and guest service experience is needed for this very visible Director of First Impressions role. The successful candidate will interact with the Executive Director, Deputy Director and the board of directors of the Key West Harry S Truman Foundation, as well as interact with guests and members of the Foundation both in person and by phone. The individual will be responsible for the first impression of The Little White House Museum® as well as the Key West Harry S Truman Foundation, and should exemplify the company standards of integrity, hospitality and excellent guest service.

- Shift Time: Monday through Friday 9am-4:30pm; nights and weekends as needed for Foundation events.
