Job Requirements of Part Time Potter's Wax Museum History Teller:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work independently over long periods of time or as part of a team within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to learn stage direction and memorize details provided in scripted story and relay scripted story in an entertaining manner.
- Ability to be heard in a loud, audible voice.
- Ability to work safely while wearing a costume.
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow employees and the general public
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior performance or interpretation experience is preferred
- An interest in history is a plus

Our ideal candidate for the Potter’s Wax Museum History Teller must have a passion for entertaining guests while narrating a script of the Wax Museum’s displays.
Tour Guides narrate several tours during each shift.
