Job Summary

The Recruiter’s daily duties include writing job postings, screening resumes/applications, phone interviews with candidates, and setting interview appointments for hiring managers. This position builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; maintaining rapport. This position is a positive role model and ambassador for Historic Tours of America®. The Recruiter is the first person the applicant encounters; the applicant’s first impression should be that our company has integrity, we are professionals, and Historic Tours of America® is a fun place to work.

This position is a fully on-site role.

Job Requirements:

  • High degrees of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and with various departments, fostering teamwork.
  • General knowledge of employments laws and practices pertaining to applicants.
  • Knowledge of candidate sourcing and relationship building skills. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, such as word processing, spreadsheets, emails, managing onboarding data-base, files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Ability to navigate the Internet to find information, including the ability to open standard browsers and how to use search engines.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional people skills required
  • Recruitment experience a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must
