Buyer's Data Entry Specialist (Full Time) TS&G

Position Summary:

The Data Entry Specialist Supports the team by maintaining a well-organized vendor base for procuring merchandise sold in souvenir and gift shops. This position must be computer proficient, have expertise in Microsoft Excel, and be a fast, accurate typist with a sharp eye for detail while inputting data from various source departments.

Job Requirements:

Essential Functions

  • Process source documents for data entry by compiling, reviewing for accuracy, sorting, and coding.
  • Quickly enter data while being exact or highly accurate to meet strict deadlines.
  • Track purchases from placing orders to receipt of orders and other documents that require tracking until completion.
  • Maintain the buyer’s merchandise books, such as taking photos, printing assembling, and updating.
  • Create schedules and make travel arrangements for buying trips and store visits.

Required Knowledge and Skill

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, methods, and analysis, and reporting of financial data
  • Excellent memory and organization ability in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines without clerical errors

Qualifications

  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Formal computer training is preferred.
  • Excel proficiency required.
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Successful candidate must pass a drug test and a background search
