Job Requirements of Seasonal Night of Lights Customer Service Representative:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- No prior knowledge is required, paid training is provided
- Must be able to board and exit the trolley and assist guests with boarding and exiting the trolley
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work outside in the field and tolerate a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as a team within the scope of established rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with a diverse CAST and the general public equally.
- Ability to deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people in a pleasant, calm, courteous manner.
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Mental attitude required to handle the stress that goes with this job as described
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Outgoing and enjoy working with the public.
- Customer Service experience preferred.

Position Summary
The Night of Lights Customer Service Rep acts as an ambassador of good will to the city by accurately providing guests with local tourist related information, assists with organizing and controlling guest lines, directing traffic in the parking lot or directs guest to ticket booths in a courteous, friendly manner by extending hospitality in full measure to every guest.
